The Business and Finance Division is one of five major divisions within the College. Our mission is to provide financial leadership; ensure institutional compliance with all applicable laws, 规定, and policies; and encour年龄 good stewardship of College resources. To accomplish this mission, the Office of the Vice President provides leadership and man年龄ment to support all areas of the College.
The Business and Finance Division 工作人员 work together to provide services to the students, 工作人员, and 教师 of RSCC as well as the local communities. Areas of responsibility include the operation of the business office, purchasing office, human resources, campus police, physical plant and maintenance of all facilities, 电脑, 电话, and payroll services.
The Public Safety and Campus Police department oversees the safety and security of students, 工作人员, 教师, and visitors to the campuses and institutional properties of Roane State 社区 College. The department of Public Safety and Campus Police works in conjunction with local law enforcement 年龄ncies to provide safety and security services at all campuses and higher education centers.
The Fiscal and Auxiliary Services Department consists of all business office operations, excluding 采购. The Business Office works closely with the 采购 Office and all other College departments. The Business Office handles the day-to-day operations required to process petty cash requests, payments to vendors and also handles collections of all accounts receivables including fee payments from students and all other sources secured through College departmental budget accounts.
The Human Resources Department provides timely, accurate and reliable information to both internal and external customers and provides training, development and wellness opportunities that maximize the college’s most valued resource.
The Information Technology Department consists of Administrative Systems Computing, Network and Technical Support Services, and Telephone Services. The Information Technology Department is responsible for maintaining and programming all 电脑 systems for use by RSCC 教师 and 工作人员. The HELP Desk is available to assist with 电脑 operator assistance. Allen Foster is available to assist with any 电话 needs.
The Payroll and Special Projects Department is headed by Cynthia Cortesio. Payroll processes all payroll for RSCC employees. 除了, they also handle the payroll for Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology-Crossville, 哈里曼, -Jacksboro, and -Oneida/Huntsville.
The Physical Plant and the East Tennessee Agricultural Exposition Center is headed by Stan Starkey.
The 采购 Department is directed by Dana West. The 采购 Department processes all credit card purchases using P-cards (VISA), 合同, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders for procurement of supplies and equipment for normal operations.
