This notice is intended to comply with the Tennessee Higher Education Freedom of Expression and Transparency Act (the “Act”) and to reflect the Board of Regents’ and institutional commitment to freedom of speech and academic freedom.

1. 定义

   2. 教师 指的是任何人, whether or not the person is compensated by the institution, and regardless of political affiliation, who is tasked with providing scholarship, 学术研究, 或教学. 2. Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Expression, and Academic Freedom
   1. Nothing in this notice or the Act shall be interpreted to:

      5. Prohibit an institution from promoting diversity, 股本, 和包容, provided that those efforts are consistent with State law.

4. Investigation and Resolution of Complaints
