Subject: Testing of Students

Faculty members are responsible for administering, proctoring and evaluating examinations. Each faculty member is responsible for the validation of all test materials including procedures for test instrument preparation, evaluation, and administration. For courses offered via distance education, testing may be referred to the Testing Center at the main campus or the Oak Ridge branch campus.

Make-up examinations will be given for absence due to an official college trip or protected circumstances, as specified by state and federal laws. In other situations, make-up tests are administered at the discretion of the faculty.
